I like the JP pipes too, plenty durable and they run well on most engines. If this one is quieter than that will be great. The JP1 and 2 are pretty loud, the JP3 is a little better.

I was trying to give people a heads up to a new pipe. I've been looking for a pipe for my 8ight and noticed this one, so I thought it was worth looking into. I see it listed on Nitrohouse, but you can't add it to your cart yet. Look here mid page:

The JP4/EFRA 2062 works very well with most .21 engines especially with RB, OS and STS. It's got the same bottom end as the JP3 but the mids and top end are better. The power curve and mids are really smooth. The pipe's sound level is pretty similar to the JP3. Give it a try, you'll love it...

I know that I cant wait to get my hands on one. It seems that whatever I put a JP-3 on runs good no matter what. I have had good luck with all the pipes, 1,2, and the 3. The 2 and 3 being my favorites.

speaking of sound level, what's the LOUDEST .21 1/8 pipe that you can think of?

this comment is toward jammin in general: WHY would you make the CAR,PIPE,and BODY,then leave the nipple pointed the wrong way,and leave it on the highest point of the pipe?man did that ever chap my hide about the jammin.who was to blame?the car ,the pipe or the body?i actually cut the pressure nipple off and moved it over on my jp-2 so so it wouldnt rub the body!
now that my rant is over i like my jp pipes;they are the only ones i havent dented yet.yet.

Kind of have to agree with that, who did put that right on top. But of course it is not a problem if you run the Pro-Line body.

Later,
ya, the Jammin stocker body fits like a glove, but you have to make lots of little cut outs for everything to move and fit properly. however, i have found that by using heat shielding (aluminum tape) you can prevent the body from melting. put about 3 layers over the pressure fitting and it'll be fine. i put some on the side of my fuel tank to prevent the fuel from getting hot from the radiant heat from the pipe. not sure if it does any good, but the logic behind it is sound.

The JP pipes are awesome, but I really wish the header they included would put the pipe a bit closer to the centre of the car. This new JP4 looks like it has the same old header too, oh well easy enough to run a different header.

they make the pipe stick out so far, i guess they figure it's a better flow when the gases have more room to move around.

I have an old JP3 and a new style JP3. They have moved the pressure nipple in towards the center of the car.

I don't really care where the pressure nipple points. It might look a little cleaner going the other way but I'm sure there's a reason they have it the way they do. Don't know for sure though.
