i recently bought a xtm excellerator for my brother. i noticed that the flywheel keeps coming loose how can i keep it from doing that??? thanks in advance....:confused::confused::confused:

Are you loctiting the nut that holds it on? if not, use blue thread lock.

Also, you man need shims behind the flywheel to kind of put it closer to the nut. I had that problem on my OS VG 21 when I had it in my CEN Matrix. had to use like 6 shims to get it to work right.

Make sure that the collet behind the flywheel is sitting properly on the crankshaft. if your just using pliers or hand tightening I suggest you check out tools that will help you hold the flywheel and tighten that flywheel nut down really tight. cause pliers will not do the job. Good luck

it can be nasty, but i typically hold the flywheel with a pair of 12 inch channel lock pliers. they can chew up the flywheel edges so......

use blue locktite and let it dry for 24 hrs before you try to run again. it needs close to the full 24hrs to cure well.
