I can't remember those specific photos, but I take so many I can't remember them all anyway (now I usually watermark them a couple of times). Here is a photo that I took at Silverstate and one I more recently pulled out of "retirement"--so many photos that I don't ever seem to look at them all until months later when I am bored or someone asks about them.

You must be a ROAR member to be eligible to enter. The Silverstate race is in march and we are most likely gonna have the track ready a month before. No racing for that month! However, This weeks race is the last race for this layout. I'm even gonna break out my old GT1 gas truck!

Has anyone heard anything about Finishline?
Is it just going by the wayside.

As far as i heard, finishline is done. We were really looking into taking it over, but when it came down to it, we all opted not to. Location being a primary reason. But we are still looking for a good location to do something. We only want to run races 2 times a month, but its a few month out at the earliest.

The location of Finishline and the dirt both prevent it from being a viable option in my opinion. The last time we rebuilt that track myself and several others spent hours raking up rocks and tossing them aside, but a race or two later you couldn't even tell we had done anything. There are rocks through and through and unless someone wanted to bring in massive ammounts of clean dirt to cover it up they will keep coming to the surface.
I hope to see someone open a new track in a better location. When they do they'll have tons of support. Until then it's BC once a month and out of state when time and money allow.
