This Saturday Nov 17th at Boulder City SILVERSTATE R/C

To get all the Sportsman Buggy Racers even more excitied. Pro-line is
providing you guys with a new set of tires for your 45min Main. We
should have a set of Tires and Wheels for everyone in the Sportsman
Buggy A Main. We want to see you guys go at it for the full 45mins.

This Saturday should be our best race yet!

Lots of give aways from Losi, Jammin, Pro-line, SH, Panther, Byrons,
C2 Hobbies.

We will have raffle tickets, with all the money going to a great cause.

I am even putting myself(Jason Ashton) up for Raffle.
You can have myself as your Mechanic for the december 18th race. Once
you get to the track I will work on your car, Tune it, Clean it,
Everything a normal Mechanic does.

Is there any other Track in the Country that does all of this for
there Locals??

Hope to see everyone out there. Should be tons of food, and a good
time. Bring the family, More people the better.

Right now my best receiver pack is a 1500, will that last me 45 minutes.
My dad doesnt think it will so all day today he has been practicing changing reciever packs in my 8ight for during the race. His fastest time was 45 seconds witch is really quick but that is basically a whole lap. Does anybody know if this pack will make 45 minutes or should i stick to my dads plan with coming in at 30 min to change pack or does anybody know of a pack that will for sure make 45 minutes that will fit in the batter box for the 8ight?

Thanks
Mikey Bustamante

Mikey, If the pack is charged before the main I'm thinking you'll be fine. You can fast charge a reciever pack at 1-1.2 amps. That should charge it fast enough that it will be freshly peaked before the main. If for some reason your pack aren't at full capacity anymore I'd still take a shot at it. Typically when a pack starts to drop its voltage you'll notice very slow steering response. If that happens fall back on plan B (reciever pack change).

Mikey, last year at Nevada State I ran the 45 minute A-main on a Venom 1,200 mAh pack so I think you'll be just fine. I would peak it out on .5 amps. The slower rate will give it a better quality charge. You can also put a fan on it during charging to keep it cool if you need to (probably a good idea). You should have plenty of time between the second qual and the main to peak it out.

One thing I just thought of though is that I was running one digital servo (steering) and one analog in that race. If you are running two digital servos they'll suck up the juice a little faster. Good luck.
