Any more news on this? I am very interested, and tried the link from the neobuggy.net site from where the worlds coverage was going on, but none of the links worked. Kept on getting a navigation error.

This guy makes carbon fiber parts, not websites. The stuff looks really good, the axles with the lip for boots is a slam dunk. You should consider making those for the 8ight, the Xray 808, the HB D8 (same type of axle, right?), The AE RC8, and the Mugen MBX6. That product is a winner. It should be reasonably easy to update the shock towers to the 8ight 2.0 spec too. You picked the right car to support.

I heard you guys have a conversion coming specifically for 1/8 scale electric conversion of the 8ight, saddle pack setup.

Is this true?

whats the status of the RC8 chassis?

Default Losi 8 Carbon chassis

Yes it is true. Mike truhe drove it sunday night and said it was awesome. Really well balanced and a blast to drive. I ran the 2min warm up, and the 12 min main on saturday night at Revelation. Started dead last and finished 2nd.

As for the RC8, we are looking at changing our manufacturing process to better our turn around time on the other models. We have the RC8, MBX6, MP9, and the D8 in house and are working on all of them.

As far as the 2.0 goes, our chassis is already 1.5mm longer thatn stock version, and the towers and stuff will be change over very soon.

Thanks

just a quick note for you guys.

Matrix Concepts warranty service is top notch. I had one of my towers form a fracture after very little use. I sent Robert a photo and they sent me out a new one no questions asked.

You cant ask for more than that

Thanx Robert

Default Carbon Chassis

I wanted to let you guys know about our year end blowout on our Carbon chassis for the 8ight. It would be a great addition for your 8ight and or 8ight-E conversions. The chassis is 100 grams lighter than stock regularly $199.95 now $149.95 while supplies last.

Hi I was wondering if the chassis being so light makes the 8ight not handle as good? I have heard of when some vehicles become too light they become really unpredictable and was curious on your findings of the 8ight's weight with your chassis vs stock.

Thanks

Default chassis

Mattp- Everyone that has tried one has only had good things to say about it. They all say it accellerates, brakes, and jumps better than the car that is already the best at all those.
