Eagle 21 B-7t engines are intended for 1/8 Buggy or Truggy. They were developed to give you the best current performances. The new sleeve system insures the best compromise between power, flexibility and autonomy. The new exhaust design of the slave as been studied for a better compromise between power and fuel consultation.
Eagle engines have a good fuel consumption and many time go more than 8 min with a tank.
Eagle Buggy is assembled with high speed bearings. The front bearing is special with 2 rubber shields (in and out) compared to hard dust or water conditions. The main bearing is special with the balls line closed to the axle of the conrod to decrease flexions and vibrations of the moving parts. Eagle engines are coming in two versions: Normal glow plug or Turbo glow plug.
We present you here the version with Normal glow plug.

Technical Data Eagle 21 B-7t
C. Capacity :3,49 cc
Bore :16,26 mm
Stroke :16,80 mm
Ports :7
Crankshaft :ř 14 mm
Carburetor :ř 8 mm + reducer
Glow Plugs :Turbo
Weight :385 gr
# Eagle 21 B-7t

Black crankcase

Like all the FX models, the Eagle crankcase is black coated for an optimal waste of calories and also to harden the bearings housings. This treatment avoids the internal oxidation of the crankcase by the fuel which can stay after use and the problems which ensue from it.
This Black crankcase is, as all crankcases tuned JP Racing, the label of the brand and its identity since about 20 years.
The rear cover of crankcase is machine with a groove practised to accommodate the piston in the low position. Like the crankcase the cover is black coated.
WARNING : Place the piston on the top position before removing the rear cover.

Cooling-head

The cylinder head of this new Eagle Buggy is of extra size but also extra light. The 9 ribs insure a perfect cooling necessary to these engines. Of blue colour it is engraved with reference of the engine. Cuttings on the top add a better look and decrease the weight for a better position of the gravity center.

Turbo head insert

The head insert of this engine is a "Turbo" type to give optimal output to this engine and a maximal power.
WARNING :It’s very important to use Novarossi glow plugs for this engine. Only Novarossi glow plugs are perfectly adapted with the head insert. Some glow plugs could bring the engine impossible to adjust and damage insert and piston/sleeve set..

7 ports ABC Sleeve with boosters

The sleeve of B-7 is particular for buggy engines compared to the number of ports. It is conceived with a special system 7 ports and an exhaust endowed with two boosters intended to increase performances and to administer in best the fuel consumption. This new sleeve, with 7 ports, allow the engine to go in very hight RPM compared to others buggy engines. The connecting rod is a R7 model. The piston is casted and drilled with 2 holes for a better lubrification of the connecting rod head and to cool the bottom of the piston.

Turbo Crankshaft

The crankshaft is full HardBlack coated and machined very light to increase acceleration and to decrease the fuel consultation of the engine. The HardBlack coating on all the shaft avoid wear coming from the dust. The red putty, used for 20 years on the JP Engines, comes inside the hole to improve the gas flow. The special design situated on the exit of the crankshaft canal improves the mixture delivery inside the ports system of the sleeve. The crankshaft is machined with a design in regard with a correct balancing compared to the weight of the moving parts.

Carburetor

The special Off-Road carburettor uses a plastic body to prevent the «vapor-lock». This carburettor is coming with an 8mm reducer (red) but other sizes are available.
As all FX Engines, it has a simple adjustment (1 screw). The adjustment is easier and simpler compared to a double screws.

1 needle that will be interesting to see that could make racing much easier to get into, but the picture shows 2 needles.

They make single needle carbs now. They are no good. You can either get low end or good top end, but not both.
