Default 40 series wheels - Tire Choice

So, I am running a Jammin, and after seeing Chad Bradley perform at the OFNA Championships, and the way his truggy handled compared to others, I have determined that I need to get in on this 40 series wheel craze.

Tire Choice:

I have seen 40 Series Crimefighters, does proline make 40 series Bow Tie and Holeshots? If not, can I clip my Standard Bow Tie MTR's to fit? Does Chad have special tires no one has, or is he cutting the tires?

He runs a new Jammin wheel which are not 40 series. The Jammin wheels are not out yet but are similar looking to the Losi wheels which is what most people run on truggy now. And yes it does require cutting the tire

Yeah do not run actual 40 series tires/wheels they are awful. What he was running is exactally what hansarvin said. Just keep in mind if you are running on a really rough or a realy soft track they may end up being a bit worse the the standard tires since there is not as much sidewall to absorb bumps. If you are running on a blue groove track though they should be better for sure though.

Has proline labeled the wheels yet or given any dimensions? I'd like to know how they compare, physically, to the losi and regular wheels.
