Unhappy OFNA Ravager start-up help request.

I am new to nitro r/c, I did alot of research and decided on the OFNA Ravager. Here's my problem, I primed the engine and I am able to get it to start with no problems, but it won't stay idling for more than 5-10 sec. I was able to get it running for about 30 seconds once by giving it a little gas, but as soon as it goes back to neutral it dies. The glow plug glows bright red, I've tried adjust the carb and that doesn't help(i put the screw(s) back to factory settings). I am, using O'Donnell 20% car fuel. The instruction manual is vague on what to do and I would rather fix the problem myself if at all possible rather than paying someone to fix it. Mind you this is the very first tank of fuel. I don't know if this is of any significance, but when I was trying to retrieve a screw, i tipped it on its side, and this watery, oily rust colored crap came out of the exhaust, there was about 3 tablespoons worth and I'm sure theres more in it. If anyone can give me any ideas id appreciate it. Thanks
