Unhappy 12 mm conversion

Anyone know how to go from 17mm to 12 mm hexes on a 1/8 scale buggy? I want to be able to run 2.2's on a 1/8th scale late model I built. Are there any 14mm 2.2mm wheels out there, if so let me know. Any help would be graciously appreciated!

Well i don't think that there are any 14-mm 2.2's out there but i think that stock Traxxas Rustler hubs might fit. Not sure.

I don't think there is a way to run 2mm hexxes on a 1/8 buggy, the axle is way too big

You may want to check out HPI P/N:86065
I think it has an axle OD of 8mm but I am unsure of the length thru the bearings. If it is too long you could shim it. It uses standard dogbones.
