I've had the same Airtronics MX-3 FM for *I'm guessing* 3 years now, but just this summer I got a Futaba 3PM FASST and the MX-3 is slowly going to get phased out. I've got 5 cars, and with R603FF FASST receivers going for about $100 a pop I'm not real keen on switching everything over just yet.

Futaba 3PM... I'm fantasizing about the 3PM with FASST though.

I don't know how much longer I'll be able to hold out!

KO Helios and I love it. Its the best radio Ive had and Ive had them all. Its comfortable and light and I think the menu is really easy to navigate. But radio is largely personal preference.

I have owned the Airtronics M11 with Spektrum last year and really enjoyed it, but it was slightly uncomfortable. Then I sold it for a 3PKS w/FASST after holding a friends. Since I do not use any nifty functions other than dual rate, epa, and a timer, I bought it based on comfort and feel. The M11 was easier to navigate, however the 3PK is a little faster to navigate for me because of the Direct Call feature. My driving only improved because of time behind the wheel, not from changing radios. I prefer the steering wheel on the M11, and that one can adjust throttle tension on it also, but the balance of the 3PK is very nice. With the radios out there, buy what is comfortable and based on features needed/wanted, NOT what looks cool or based on price or what someone else tells you. A radio purchase should be a rare occasion. I did not have a chance to try out radios before purchasing my first high end unit.

I'm using a M8 with a spektrum. I really like the radio. I also have a KO Mars EX1 that I've had for years.

it seems like the pool is 45% 3PK(s) 45% M11/M8, and 10% on EX-10.....
