Default New Ace servo

Can't wait for this new servo from Thunder Tiger/Ace Digital to hit the streets! I've had great luck with my DS1313 but it's a bit slow. This new DS0606 with its .06 speed is right up my alley!

I was paying more attention to the speed. I see they didn't list the torque for 6v. I run 6.7v so I'd guess it to be about 110 oz./in. or more with that. I wish they would clarify.

I think this is for touring cars where they require more on speed than torque. if you're using it for throttle why not the 1015? I know its a killer for throttle but you can always reduce the EPA on your radio so as not to get its full torque.

Servo Test

you might also check that link. very interresting test on servos over the life of a run. seems hitec servos drop almost half 50% of their torque as soon as they get some heat in them. so they ace would drop to almost 40-50oz of torque ouch :P
