What is a good pipe for the Radical 621T
Just like the title says....any suggestions?

The Radical pipe is the best for power/fuel mileage, I have heard some good things about JP3, any 053 pipes, The JP will give you plenty of power but the mileage is not good. so I guess it depands on what you are after..the nice thing about the Radical is you can adjust it for different track conditions.

I had a buddy that had the Radical pipe and didnt like it, but its all a perference.

I run the 621T with the Radical pipe.....1 big shim....1 small shim. I'm running 30% TQ Fuel and can usually get close to 9 min of runtime with temps no more than 220......on a really hot/humid day(100 deg.+). And yes, it has more power than most people know how to use.

I ran an 053 w/ a JP round manifold. I was getting close to 10 mins to a tank and it was a beast. I have a werks B7pro now and the radical was quicker. The regular 053 was ok, so was the JP3, but the JP1 was actually better than either. But when I combined the 053 and the JP3 manifold it was an animal with great mileage.
It was the best motor I've ever owned just keep a close eye on the connecting rod after 3 gallons, mine let go just before the 4 gallon mark and took the entire motor out. Knowing what I know now I would have replaced the rod at the 3 gallon mark and still be running that motor.
Side Note: The B7 pro is a great motor it has a very smooth power band, but the radical was just insane out of the hole, almost too much.

There is a new and improved rod. The old one did not last long. I have 2 gallons through mine and changed the rod last night. The one that came in the motor was toast.

I was told by a sponsored radical driver that I should check the rod after a gallon or two and get the new rod and put in it. The new batch of motors should have the new rod in them so you don't have to worry about it when they come off back order.

Ok guys,
there is no new rod, the only difference is the newer ones have been milled a bit more to make them lighter. same material, ect.
The team driver that told you that was correct, the rod should be changed after the first 3 gallons (6 hours run time) this is not due to bad material or a defective rod, this is very common for race engine. The reason for this is the tight pinch they come with, break in can be very tough on a rod, and lets face it most guys will never wait a full 20 tanks before going full throttle.
I have an engine that has 13 gallons on it with the original rod still in it, I also have one that has over 5 gallons on it .
There are alot of things that come into play with an engine that is turning 42,000 RPM.
Also if you read the insert in the box it says "replace the rod after 6 hours of running"

very powerful engine - almost too much bottom end for a buggy (at least for me!). I did not like the radical pipe on it...a jp2 (of all things) gave a much smoother powerband and more top end - as always, these mills like to come off the track around 205 or so..amazing that they run so cool
