Default KYOSHO GXR.28 REMOVE FLYWHEEL PROBLEM?

hi whats the best way to remove the flywheel on my gxr28 engine I thought it would just slide off but after taking off the flywheel nut the flywheel is stuck on tight? any suggestions would be appreciated?

just knock it out from the back. knock it at 90 deg intervals. It should pop out

If you really can't get it off by knocking (don't try a screwdriver, bad idea), then theres one sure way of getting it off.

I only do this for flywheels that are REALLY stuck. Basically, remove the p/s/r assembly and the backplate. Then insert a screw in the end of the crank, so it doesn't chip, then knock it on a piece of wood until the flywheel pops off.

thanks guys I was hitting the wheel with the hard plastic end of a screwdriver but it is very stubborn but I will keep trying !

Default easy fix :)

Buy a 5 dollar battery terminal puller at any parts store...the flywheel will come off in about two seconds with no damage to the crank. You'll be glad you got one!
