looks like it could be a bit hard on tires also....

Would suck to marshall a car that got stuck under it. I wouldn't crawl under there and get hit in the head with an 8th scale etc.........

looks like a nice rubber shredder...would really not like racing a 20+ minute main there

I think tires would actually slide more than shred ,not very much traction surface for grip.

rub your tires on pvc pipe good and look at your tires (espeacially if you run pins) and tell me your tread wouldnt fit in that mesh
