Yes on the outdrives....from the diffs to the wheels. At full droop or full compression they shouldn't even come close to the end of thoutdrives.
Well it looks like my rear outdrives are the new ones and the front ones are the old ones, they come almost flush with the end. Guess I will order some new ones. Will have to check the bulkhead later. Thanks for the info.

The original outdrives are fine on the front. My old outdrives siad OCM on them and the new ones didn't. You could probably tell the diff that way.

If you bought the car for customers to try you should buy the evo upgrade so they get a fair trial of what they will buy. When you look at the evo kit think of the diff between the mugen prospec and the R.

There were some stamped(with OCM) outdrives that were too short.

Well the front right outdrive looks like I could pop out the axle with the arm all the way up. It does not say OCM on them. The NEW Kaos kit's I just got from Alan B. say OCM on the out drives though. The rear outdrives on this old kit do not day OCM on them either but the axle is almost a 1/8" from popping out which is good. The are also a brown/goldish color when the new ones are all black.

Your rear ones look good. I would replace the front ones.

I just tried to find the EVO upgrade kit on Amain and it doesn't seem to be in their inventory any more. Does anyone have a hint as to how to find it on their site?

Is that why all there OCM stuff is on sale or closeout or something? If so then it's better for me LOL! I am starting to carry the OCM stuff now too. I could not find the upgrade kit too.

what did you need most in the package ?
I don't need anything in particular at the moment. I just bought an EVO from another member on here and I like to have spares on hand. I hate ending my race day early due to a broken part that, with a little planning, I could already have on hand. The upgrade kit seemed to be an economical way to have some crucial parts already sitting in the spares bin.

After talking to Kendall at AMain he has decided he is going to make very much needed warehouse space by clearing out some of the smaller lines he has in stock. This will make room for other lines in airplanes, heli's, etc.

However, we are still working with Carolina's RC and even added a new store in www.modhobby.com who will be getting things listed soon. I have met with alex at MOD HOBBY and he will stock and has placed a very large order of the product line.

You can also check with Chris @ holeshot hobbies, and www.jtecracing.com also carries the line.

Should you still have a problem we(OCM) can be contacted and will be glad to make sure you have what you need

Thanks!

What are you guys usually buying spare parts for on your OCM's. I am going to get another order together for stock but would like to carry parts that are needed more than most. I got arms and shock shafts and rod ends and stuff but what else you guys think. I am still new to OCM so do not know too much about what is needed to keep them up and running at the races. Seem pretty durable since I cannot find too many posts about parts breaking or wearing out! Any help would be appreciated. Just want to have stuff you guys need when you need it.

I ask our OCM drivers to keep the essentials like on any other buggy spare.
The parts that I recommend keeping are
Shock rebuild kit
diff o-rings and gaskets
lower suspension hinge pins
lower suspension arms
Pack of toe inserts
Shock ends
steering tie rod ends (get servo tie rod ends, are thicker)
13 t Clutch bell
44, 46 & 48 Teeth spur gears

If you wanted to be super safe and set yourself up for the next 6 months- 1 year, I would also recommend keeping the following, just in case of bad crashes etc etc
1 x bulkhead
1 x driveshaft
1 x diff case
spare crown gear
spare pinion gear
spare wheel bearings
