Whats up guys! OCM had a good showing at Planet RC in Indianapolis yesterday. They had about 25 buggies. We didn't get the win but we were close. Jay Hudson led most of the A main, but had a little bobble in the last 30 seconds and finished second. It was very tight racing in buggy. Jay qualified 4th overall and I was 7th. They only put 6 in the A for some reason, so I was tasked to take the B. I got a clean start and quickly put a lap on most of the field. I lapped everyone but 2nd place. I just followed him around so we both stayed in one piece for the show. I didnt do too bad in the show, but was off pace. My car was very good and didnt break a thing all day. Had a great time. 2 OCMs in the show.
We are looking forward to going to the 8 state shootout in Kentucky in two weeks. Should be a great time with a lot of fast drivers.

Alright guys, got us a little shipment info.

The new engine/pipe, new wing and small parts order are here in the
USA now. They haven't made it to Alan yet...but should in the next few
days.

Now, for the Truggies and buggies.....

Due to some revisions on the center diff mount and bulkheads, and a
dramatic increase in sales here in the USA, this shipment was
obviously delayed. Since everythng comes pre-assembled, to install the
revised parts all kits had to be disassembled and then reassembled.
The end result will be a better, more reliable product for OCM users
worldwide. Alan and I have both spoken with the factory and they are
telling us that a small shipment of truggies, buggies and parts should
ship(by air) to us this Friday. I know this has turned into a long and
drawn out ordeal that has cause alot of concern for our customers, but
rest assured, we (mostly Alan)are doing all that we can to get these
orders here in a timely fashion. All we really can do here is relay
the info that we are given and try to rush the factory. We've come
along way as a company and as team, and after this little snag in
shipment, things should be back on track for '08.

Thanks, Shane Keller

Couple more things....

Some guys that live in colder climates are breaking front knuckles
and rear uprights, we have also spoken with the factory about this
issue. We have been told that new molds and a new plastic blend is in
the works for these areas that should eliminate these issues. Most of
our team drivers live in warmer climate areas, we have just put on
team drivers in colder climate areas of the U.S. in the last 6 months
or so...I believe that is why we never realized this issue before.
Things break in colder weather that sometimes won't break in warmer
weather. It is only from the feedback that we get from you guys that
let's us know of these types of issues....and we do appreciate it.

ofna x1cr BB shocks should go onto the ocm

just take the shockbodies...
and use the ocm shockrods or mbxr rods
+ the long x1cr lower shockballjoints and upper shockjoints

someone also put the kyosho BB's on a mbxr without problems...
should be the same
but better wait for the OCM ones...it won't be long now

That center diff mount is a thing of beauty! Very nice design. Should be real easy to remove the diff. I like how the brake guides fit in.
