yeah it was about 35 degrees inside. i was expecting one to snap because ive been hearing those are the weak point but i took a couple tumbles and it kept going. im going to stock up on parts so i can have it ready for outdoors wich starts in a couple weeks. The diffs were really notchy at first but now there butter smooth. i cant wait to get more wheel time with this buggy.

I've heard of a few rear uprights breaking.....but no fronts. Anything will break in that kind of cold..

Sounds like you shimmed your diffs the right way....tight and a little notchy at first....then smooth after 5-6 tanks. Be sure to check them again...I've had to re-shim some after the first1/2 gallon or so. After that they'll last forever. I just changed my rear pinion last week....it's from the second gen kits. That ring/pinion set has around 18-20 gallons on them.

Let me know what you find out....I'm running the plastic rear uprights myself and don't have any issues.

I've broken three of the front knuckles in the past month, running in 30* temps. They just don't like the cold, so your not alone Cheese.

Don't know about your rubbing issue, I looked my car up and down trying to see if there's a problem. I'm running the plastic rear hubs, all is well.
