Guys,

A local track in Gasden Alabama will hold this race the Friday and Saturday after the holiday. It will be a large regional race and will draw racers from the Alabama area as well as Florida, Georgia, Carolinas, and more from all over the southeast. I have also spoke with drivers from Texas, Utah, virginia, Tennessee that also plan to make the trek to the shootout! This is a top notch Facility. It has a huge drivers stand, lights, power and water, Hobbyshop, indoor restrooms(men/women), on site concessions, plenty of room for pitting, camping, etc...

Practice will be all day Friday and some of Saturday morning. This is a good sized track and is fun to drive on! You can get info of of www.tbirdhobbies.com but hotel is .5 mile of interstate 20 and track is approx .5 miles further. OCM is working on providing a large circus type tent for racers along with tables and chairs. I would like the OCM guys to make the trip as this will be a good chance to get together and work on setups, meet everyone, etc.....not to mention take the title back with us! It will be a challenge as some of CEN top guns as well as Xray will most likely try the same!

Hey Alan On that setup what are you gaining form using the mugen springs versus the stock springs that come with the EVO shocks(blue ones)?

Chad, I feel that the mugen springs are a bit stiffer. I guess it gives a more direct feel than the softer springs. The OCM blue may be a easier drive but it can roll alot more in the corner....and with that you may lose corner speed.

Try adding 2mm shims under the upper arm holder. You will have to use longer screws. maybe run a little more front droop(2-3mm), and try the mugen greys.....

That should help with on power steering.

Hey Mate,

I think Theo users a Fioroni Turbo Slider Clutch. I use one myself they are awesome clutches. I got close to 45lts out of my last pair of shoes, they wear extremely well, just make sure you shim the clutch well. From what I heard the Twin Slider Clutches are "OK" but the Original Turbo Slider is still the one to get and super easy to install. PS they are cheaper in Australia, not worth importing one from the States.
