Default SHOOTOUT

Guys, as I read through the forums I realize maybe it's time for the
magazines to do another shootout test on all the buggies. I would
gladly throw ours in the mix knowing that now we have a good buggy and
this performance test against top buggies/companies will show the
consumers/critics that in fact you are getting a "top" level buggy for
under $400, much cheaper than some of the others.

I just heard recently that a "losi" driver who has never driven the
car, wrenched on it, built it, etc...says it's no good and we will not
sell any buggies At this point I laugh those comments off because
every month we sale more and more. We have new product coming out and
then we will get a bigger boost. It's people that have no clue that
just throw a comment out like that. Of course we had a couple growing
pains, and we have came leap years! Am I not correct? The other thing
one of our drivers told me was people say its a mugen copy...lol. The
steering geometrey could not be more different, arms are shorter, roll
center is different, etc...all for a reason. I once put a mbx5
steering ackerman plate on my buggy, by doing this alone I lost a
tremendous amount of steering

So I think we put it against what people say is the best on the
market, I feel sure it will come out ahead of what some say are the
best by far! I have sent some emails to mags.....

I couldnt agree with you more,to many people go by how the first car was the problems alot of people had with tham cant believe how good my car does on the track and the fact of how i dont always have to wrench on it i race with alot of fast guy's ever weekend and i run right there with them losi's,mugens and all the other top level cars that come to the track.so i believe that another review would do good.

The Mugen Pro-Line Crowd Pleazer 2.0 Body will work but you have to do some modifying to the body so your break linkage doesnt hit.

FYI - Just a quick note guys on the EVO upgrade kit.

The hole kit bolted up with no issues. Shock towers, shock bodies, shafts and wings mounts all fit nicely. Can't wait to get it on the track this weekend. The shock towers are definitely more centered on the car now, and less weight to boot. OCM has done their homework.

Funny thing just happened.....

I left the warehouse and went to my house in Birmingham Alabama finish
up for the pre worlds race. I'm in my street running a couple more
tanks through my new O.S. Speed. By the way it is doing well so far.
So anyways a car is coming around our little curb. So I step to the
side and keep going. Now my little neighborhood is mostly older farm
house and most of us have 2 or more acres. It's kinda a little out of
the way area...anyways....little car is coming and he passes me and
suddenly stops and rolls down the window as he is backing up. The guy
goes, "is that a OCM Kaos"? LOL...I'm not kidding. He is like where do
you race and do you travel? So I tell him I work for OCM and race/run
the USA team. He is like cool, do you know Paul Coleman? What about
Keimon larwence? I thought was pretty ironic. He is from Burmuda and
knows Kiemon well. About two years ago Keimon let the mugen team
borrwo a huge EZUP he left in the states. We were at the Farm 2 and it
saved us from sun burn city Cool huh? Just out of the blue, of all
places to be, and driving by he sees the buggy and point it out!

So he tells me he has been looking at the Radical and the OCM. So
since he is in my area I'm gonna hook him for sure Give him a
warehouse tour, show him all the proto stuff....nice!

Has anyone else had proplems mounting motor on the one peice motor mount? My gotech 5port back plate hits back of motor mount brace.{holes in motor mount could be ahead about 3mm.solve the problem and clutch gear would be centered on spur gear much better.}Lance

My friend had the same problem mounting my C6 to the one piece mount. He Dremeled a little bit and it fit fine and has not had any problems on the track with durability.
