Lance, yes you should have the newest kit. It did come in the tote bag correct? It should also have metal colored outdrives(not black and stamped with ocm). Should you have any problems please let me know. We are here to make sure you are happy! I also mailed you out a few things today just in case. Outdrives, spur gear, and.....something else. I'm not at the office to look. Anyways, you will have it in a few days. Thanks a ton for your support!

And yes the evo kit is and will now be the new kit but you will be very happy with the performance of your buggy as is! Should you decide to upgade at a later time it will cost you very little. $60 shipped and that gets you front and rear towers, new rear wingstay, front and rear complete shock sets and springs!

Thanks Lance!

Tennesee State Race(9/8/07)

Well, after hours of rain delays and many, many heats of the regions
top drivers we were able to complete the Tennessee State race! The
morning started off great with a nice break from the southeastern heat
and some sounds of nitro engines! This was our second race in the USA
for the soon coming OCM KAOS DT19t 1/8 Truggy. Our first race ended
with good results and we were hoping the very stable performer showed
it's muscle again. Our USA Team manager Alan Burton was also testing
our new OCM KAOS DT-19 "EVO" for the first time. The changes consist
of new shock towers, longer front and rear shocks with increased down
and up travel, new wing stay design, smaller 3.5mm cvd's, as well as a
few other smaller running changes. This kit is truly amazing! We did
log many laps of practice and even a 2 of the 4 heats with the new evo
buggy coming up with a base setup for our drivers. The buggy showed a
lot of promise and improvement in the rough. We did however go back to
our proven 1st gen kaos buggy since we had months of setup work with
it, and limited time with the new evo. The kaos as always performed
and set Alan Burton 7th in the Amain!

OCM driver Aaron Bigger was at the controls of the prototype truggy
and after strong runs all day came up TQ for the 2007 Tennessee State
Race! The truggy is really coming along nice, we have established a
few good setups that are working with it and can not wait until the
release to the public later this month! The truggy looked great in
warm up prior to the 30 minute Amain and we felt we had a good shot
for a win in only our second race ever with the dt-19t. The GO Tech 5
port was pulling the truck like a rocket! The start took a few minutes
to get sorted out and Aaron cam out in the lead after a couple laps
with some fast truggy aces hot on his rear. It stayed this way for
about the first 5 minutes of the race. With Aaron at the controls and
the consistency of the truck throughout the remainder of the race we
continued to stretch the lead more and more. This would be the trucks
first state title! Next race will be it's toughest test yet....the
Futaba Nitro Challenge in Bossier City, LA. If you are attending stop
by and check it out. Alan will be glad to show it to you.

The buggy main was set to be a real challenge. With Alan Burton
starting in the 7th spot and many of the regions top guys ahead of him
the horn sounded. After a few minutes the kaos popped into second
place just seconds behind the leader. Talking with Alan's pit guy we
knew the buggy was doing really well and had a good shot at winning.
After 25 minutes of lead swapping we were finally in the lead with one
pit left and several seconds ahead of the second place buggy who also
had one stop to make. It was looking like this story was gonna end
with a win as well! unfortunately the clutch bearings went after a
hard charge to the front and took the kaos and Alan Burton out of
contention. We took a 5th overall. Buggy was great, no parts failures
all weekend and a strong finish! Off to Futaba we go in less than one
week! See ya there!

Hey guys...I have a serious question. In your opinion what is the best RTR buggy and/or truggy on the market? What makes it the better in your eyes?

We are soon going to have a RTR buggy and truggy and we really want a no nonsense car/truck.

So I'm looking into what will be the best RTR radio, engine, servos, rx batt or AA?, etc....

I would like to hear your thoughts!

Sportwerk turmoil is in my opinion one of the best RTR on the market in the buggy class. It comes with a DSM radio semi decent servos a real nice cheap to replaceable .26. It comes with roto starter. Now I dont think its the best car on the market but for a beginner in the sport it gets you everything you need for around $550 dollars and you cannont beat that.

i would say DSM in the radio, thats really what the Losi has going for it. Beginners don't know anything about servos so they won't pay for anything special there. I also think that beginners do want to see a big block even though it will overpower their buggy.
