For most tracks the 6.5 works great. Plenty of power still (aids bottom end) and great economy.

thanks for the link but i fear that shipping would be a bit excessive from there to here.

Neither of these engines came with the stock venturi, i plan to have the LHS order some. can i run this engine with good result without the venturi? the boxy cut for the insert i fear might screw it up a bit.

Contact Racefactor Industries, or check their web site for the closest stockist to you.

Should run ok without the venturi. be a bit thirsty though.

i just used the email provided at http://www.racefactorindustries.com/id4.html and well the email was no good, i then just copied and pasted the email into the comment box with a note explaining that the emailer daemon blocked the initial contact due to the address being nonexistant..

This has left a strong impression on me.

Hmm, that's unusual. I have never dealt with Russell at RaceFactor myself, as I am in New Zealand and go through my local GO distributor down here, or Massive Mods in Australia, but have heard lots of good things about RaceFactor on these threads.
Maybe just use the "Find a dealer near you" tab on the website and contact your closest dealer direct ??

already checked that out,, the places locally listed there dont carry go engines or parts.. in fact one of the shops listed doesnt carry ANY nitro parts.

Oh well maybe they will reply to the contact us form. hopefully they will answer faster than the 3 months it took mrt to reply about their clone transponders

Found that early in the thread. Does anyone know if this ever changed? As I mentioned earlier my LSN stays in the spray bar even at WOT which is how the newer style works correct? So do I have a Gen 3 carb or what?

I'm confused.

Have even fired that thing up yet!? Set the LSN flush and the HSN 3.5 out and break her in!

Breaking it this afternoon after I get home from work. Cleaned it out and sealed it all up yesterday so waiting for it to cure.

Just trying to figure out which carb I have before we hit the track tomorrow.

My 5-port is on the way back from Pro Twister Mods, so it should be ready for racing this weekend as it's already broke in. I will never break in another engine.... goin' brushless.

Rearview - I am very disappointed. You are giving up the screaming sound and nitro fumes of a .21 motor for the boring quite of a tin can with wires coming out of it !!!!!
Thatīs sad bro

Looper,

Mark from Massive mods is shipping my engine out today. I had him throw a set of restrictors in there for you. LMK if you want them.
