Wait.

Or, buy a Losi now

What I didn't like about my 5r:

1. threaded hinge pins=PITA

2. Plastic arms a stiffer than a chunk of rock maple.

3. Leaky diffs, can upgrade to different o-rings, but after spending that much, I should'nt have to

4. Anodizing comes off quickly.

I've owned 5 Mugens and will not go back after my last experience.

Just my $ .03

If you want a mugen now there is no point in waiting for the 6, that will be long enough away that it wont be worth actualy waiting, you will want one when it comes out but get one then and have fun with the 5 now

Pick up some of thicker o-rings or you will have to rebuild your diffs a lot because they will leak all the oil out. Also make sure you use a lot of grease on the outdrives and that will also help prevent leaking while making smoother opperation. You may also want to build it with a Tonys screw kit, there is nothing wrong with mugens screws but tonys are better

Here are the o-rings http://www.tonysscrews.com/category.sc?categoryId=54

Why not just buy a used 5r, that way you won't feel you wasted money if the 6 comes out sooner than you thought.

The new buggy wont be out till this time next year going of what moore said the euros

and if u get the R alot of the parts are interchangable with the truggy Diffs ,clutches ,bearings , few plastic parts so that would help you out with not having to buy alot more spares oh and it kicks but
