Also keep in mind that parts for the MBX-5 and XB8 are still available(the new crs use almost the same parts and can easily be changed over as the old ones break.

Lots of guys in the club around here have picked up old XB8's (the original one) for around $300-250cdn (so about $250-200usd). Really any of the top buggies right now can be bought used quite cheap.

I dont know why everyone doesnt like the wood screws? I never had a problem with them. As far as replacing diffs??? Not sure I follow you there. I raced the k2 and k3 for years and never had a probelm with any part on the cars.

The K2 is a tank that eats tires and the need to shim the diffs and/or diff gears stripping is well known. Maybe you just got lucky or don't drive hard enough. The Turmoil is a much better vehicle.

That one fore $152 ended for that much, you cant beat that kind of a deal.
