Well,

I had a great time at the Farm 2 this past weekend. The track was huge and for the most part a blast to run on. Lance has a great track for 1/8th scale buggy and truggy.

I would like to get some feed back from the other guys that were running 1/10th gas truck and if they had a hard time with the big jump on the back straight?

What do you guys think of ROAR placing a cap on jumps? I know so many of you like the big air and think it is cool but for those of us that had to marshal that jump it was not that much fun. Would there be a problem if there was a cap? I am just thinking of a safety factor on those big jumps that I have seen in some of the magazines.

I will be happy to step up and run 1/8th scale when the RC8 comes out but until then I will wheel my GT2.

Does ROAR need to make a special race for the 1/10th scale trucks and Monster Trucks with smaller jumps? Can they combine 8th scale buggy and truggy into one national?

What do you guys think.

Barry Baker- Great job this past weekend, you kept everybody up to speed and told it like it is.

AE- still can not beat a GT nice run guys
JConcpets- Thanks Jason for all the help.
Vinny- thanks for pit service.

Later

This was our first 'big' gas race and we had an awesome time (could've been a little cooler out LOL)! The track was huge and challenging. Lots of people we need to thank.
Al Horne for helping with everything, Casey Peck for the engine and pit help, Adam Drake for truck tires for the main and lots more, Billy Fisher, Jesse Robbers, Mike Truhe, and Chris from the Losi trailer. Jason Ashton for noticing Dakotah's truck tires were blown out in the middle of the race, Lance for the track and the chair, RC Scoring Pro for the 'lucky sticker', ROAR RMT for all being so nice, Brandon at LiveRC, Barry for the great announcing, and everyone else for their support and encouragement all weekend long.
We met alot of new racers and hope to see everyone again soon.
Hope I didn't forget anyone!
Thanks Again, Dakotah, Doug, and Nancy Phend

I knew I would forget to thank someone! Dakotah really appreciated the 'hug' and words of encouragement from you via Aunt Cat. I know she enjoyed chatting with you and everything else on LiveRC.
We are really looking forward to the Cactus too! Can you order some 'cool' weather for us though? LOL

Thanks for the support. The track was dialed but a little rough for the 10th scale trucks in some sections. I will be back to the Farm 2 when the RC8 comes out that is for sure.

You could see the inconsistent lap times on LiveRC. You couldn't see a whole lot of the track either. It still looked fun and the worst day of racing is better then a great day at work
