MBX5-T with JP Racing B5-T engine. Pair it with a 9901 Nova pipe and med conical manifold and you'll have a beast in low-end. Haven't tried the 1005 pipe, but have one backordered to see if it on the par with this combo.

Alas. On few days I'll put my hands over a Jim Hottinger Nova 21-7...

Regarding upgrades... is up to you, but my 'upgrades' went thru a 48T spur with a 14T pinion, additional sway bars just to have more adjustability on this point. Planning to get some M2C shoes and springs just to change the clutch behaviour.

my HPI firestorm is a total beast! it weighs very little, yet has a 3cc engine (.18)! to have the same engine in the MT2 costs a lot extra. and the gear ratio is very low. makes it great for wheelies.
