Hey frost i've got the VTX B1 and it is a awsome buggie for newbies I put a Losi 8 motor in it because i was trying to roto start it for an hour and spun the center baering and split the rod in half so thats why i got the losi motor now

When it comes to race legality, what displacements are legal? According to the "standard" nitro 1/8 buggy racing rules.

Most places that you are going to race at do require a .21 engine displacement, but that only carries suit for an engine that is not involved in an RTR kit.

I know for my clubs rules, as well as CORCS (Canadian Off-Road Championship Series) they allow a buggy to have whatever engine came in it (.26, .28 etc) only if it is the stock RTR motor that is in the car.

Its allowed to let people into the hobby easier, and not have to spend $2000 for a pro-spec buggy.
