Pipe for O.S. .21
Hey all, I'm going to be making the transition from electric to nitro in the fall and am planning on running an AE RC8 at Revelation raceway, a small/medium size track. I am planning on running an EB mods O.S. .21VZB and am wondering what pipe(s) I should run on it. I am looking at the 2050/2060 from O.S. or the jammin JP series. any input on pipes would be helpful. Heck any advise on nitro would be helpful, I'm a 15 year electric veteran, but green in the nitro area. Thanks in advance to any who help out.

Congrat's on the switch, Chris. If you can afford it get the OS 2060. The pipe was made for those(V-Spec's) motor's. But if you plan on getting other brand motor's later on then get the Jammin JP-3. It's an awsome all around pipe.

i ran a JP-3 with mine and it was insane...then the vspec crapped out at 2 1/2 gallons and moved to a P5X and the JP-3 rocks on that engine also...and finely i moved onto a werks B7.21PRO and the JP-3 delivered again...now i know what you thinking that i only have used one pipe, not true i have tried many pipes and kept going back the the JP-3....

run the 2050/2060 if its in your budget. the jp's are ok, but i bet if the 2050 and the jp3 were the same price, nobody would be running the jp. the 2050 was made just for the vspec.
oh yea, revelation is no longer a small/medium track. that vspec will rip down the 175' back strait.

Yeah I'm not concerned about budget since I plan on getting into nitro the right way with all the right gear. I was just eyeing the JP series because there's a torque, top end, and in the middle pipe. But I think I'll just get both the 2050 and 2060 for tuning reasons.

Chris:
If you can find one, run a OS 2050 with the Vspec. Great performance and milage. I believe they are being discontinued tho. OS is coming out with a new Mark Pavidas edition 2050 that should be taking its place. It will be great no doubt, but more expensive I'm sure.
I found the JP3 much better than the 2060 for the Vspec....but like I said a 2050 is stout!

Ditto on running the pipe made for the engine. 2050 or 2060.
I had been running the JP line of pipes with good results. But when I switched to the 2060 I had even better results. Much better power through-out the entire throttle range.
AND I notice the engine wasn't running as hot. With the JP-3 my V-spec hovered around the 250 degree mark. With the 2060 its down around 225-230 mark....
