i bought the vcs2 upgrade today , i removed the stock o ring on the shock body like it said , then i put the large blue foam in the bladder , then the small foam in the shock end and then placed the bladder on the shock body put the shock end on then screwed the aluminum cap tight. they leak up near where the shock end goes through the aluminum cap. is there suppose to be an o ring in the aluminum cap or am i doing something wrong??

no matter what the directions say, you should have the o ring there.

I'm pretty sure the VCS2 conversion was intended for the onroad shocks only. I dont think that bladder would allow enough movement to compensate the oil displacement of an offroad shock.

I second that!!! Only I use the Yokomo caps for easier bleeding!!!

WC....I agree thumbs up for AE green slime on the seals my shocks are not leaking yet

I have been running Yokomos version of the vs2 on both my bj4 we and b4 and have no problems....WAY smoother than the stockers and they dont leak

Look into the yokomo ones(they have a blue screw down cap and alum mount).

I love them and have would recomend them and day!
