LOL. Yeah, it was pretty bad. I took it inside and snapped a pic for Freefall a few minutes after this was taken. He said the same thing. I had just got home though. Yeah, that's my story and I'm stickin with it. Ha

They were the stock servos right? I think you did awesome for them to last this long. Those servos are more meant for 1/10 racing. With my T, I've only used higher end servos so I'm not sure what to suggest for a budget servo. But those JR 270/590 are just not built to handle 1/8 racing for very long.

Im looking at getting a 8T RTR. I will be putting a airtronics servo for steering and putting the standard steering servo as the throttle. I will be using 25% nitro, so would a medium mccoy plug be fine? Anyone had dramas with their throttle servos latley?

I do know the McCoy will be a good one to start with. I dont' know much about where you run and other factors, but I would try the medium plugs to start with. I'm not an engine guru so I'm not the one to ask. I use medium plugs as long as the engine is happy. I run 30% in Novarossi, OS VG, Mach 427 engines. They all have great power.

Have you gone through throttle servos like every other owner?

I burned one up. But I didn't use the plastic spacers and the servo was riding on the chassis taking a lot of punishment. Once I realized that, and corrected it, I have had no problems. I still don't know why so many servos break with the Losi's. It's hard to tell when you're not there to see exactly how they are set up. It ends up being a long discussion on here.

I use the spacers to keep the servos off the chassis. I set the brakes to engage but not pull the radio tray to the side. I also set the T/B servo to open about 95% full open. And I try to set the carb up to be pulled straight out and straight in.
