IDK. some vehicles drive cups wear fast. Like the front or rear diff outdrives. I'd say keep an eye on them and check after racing on how they are doing. My buggy needs the outdrives and the driveshaft crosspins replaced but I have 13 gallons on it. So I'd expect that. Others replace them much sooner.

Yea he was sayin that since Losi put the engine in the center of the chassis so the drivetrain is put at an irregular angle...

I've read that somewhere. But in the same article, it talks about how the CV wear the same as other vehicles just different on a different plane. The effeciency of the Losi is up cause of only one angle instead of multiple angles. IDK. I'm not an engineer--just read that in a mag.

I don't know. Do you mean with some hop ups or something? I know the new Buggy Race Roller has his setup on it. But the set up is for the track that Drake mostly races/practices at. Not too sure how it would work for others.

Jextel--You might do this already, but try to read some of the Losi Truggy thread. It's pretty much the same truck. There is awesome info all through that thread.

Use heatshrink on the front and rear CVDs. I think I forgot to mention this. This will keep the cross pins in place. But I think many 8th scales suffer from this also. Even my 10th scale GT2 used to lose the cross pins on the CVDs.

oo i was only think maybe it will be the next line Adam Drake 1/8th Truggy kit(comes with every hop-up to man) LOL..

and also today i was messing around at the track again and played with the EPA for the steering and turned it to the MAX and the steering was insane...very touchy and sharp...but i got use to it the other way so i toned it down...i didnt think the truck could had steered any better but it can! I've now put a gal thru my truck and its awsome and it impresses me everytime i drive it...

Holy crap! You have a gallon of fuel on the stock grey case JR/spektrum servos? That's awesome man. Good job on setting the EPA correctly. I'm proud of you. LOL.

Nah man I took the z270 out before i even started the truck and put the stock steering (z650 .15@142oz) for the throttle and bought a air.(forgot the number but does .10@200oz)

Are you going to the CRCRC? im going and cant wait the only mods i plan on doing is
Taking off the spin start and use a n/p backplate
painted body acourse
panther switch 2.0 MT clays
Holeshot LPR's
jp-3
And i most likely will get my engine pintched
capture end mod
some king heads braces(FR & RR)
Rebuild the diffs and shocks(using white springs all around)
M11(i had a M8 and loved it so the m11 must be the sh8*t)

Sounds good to me. What makes you want to go with the white springs? I have an Air 94358 (200@.10). The 359 also is 200@.10 but it has the aluminum heatsink.

CRCRC I think is pretty far from me. I'm from Kansas and I'm not good enough to warrant traveling that far yet. lol. Some day...
