Default questions about a duratrax ice charger

will this charger charge up a gel cell?

After re-reading the Duratrax Ice specs, it may charge a gel cell. Maybe someone else will weigh in.

I don't recall any mention of it in my manual. If it does that would be nice. I'm about to get set up with gel cells.

well if it doesnt what can i use to charge is it a different type of charge process then just normal rc batteries?

I just use my automotive car battery charger and set it on 2 amps or a trickle charger overnight

Never thought of that. Good idea. They are just lawn mower/motorcycle type batteries aren't they?

Yea, But be sure it is for 12 volts and not 6 volts
