Default revo problems

Got a few questions for you guys....first I have had to change out my spur and bell gear a few times and never had any problems...now since this last time I changed them out my air filter does not have enough room to slide over the carb because there is not enough gap for it to slip between the bell gear and the carb....second my clutch seems to always be spinning loose even after i tighten it pretty tight so I finally just super glued it...any reason to why that happened???/ and last of all I am thinking of taking all of the ez start crap off and going to either a rotor start or pull start???? which way should I go and which kind should I get also which glow ignitor????

Thanks a bunch for the help

go pull start, easy to replace or fix if it breaks. any igniter is ok, as long as its rechargable, dont go cheap and buy a d-cell one. they last only about 4 starts

i myself ditched the blue wire setup and got the hobbico hot shot 2 rechargable d cell ignitor. Seems to have more than enuf power to last for a pretty decent number of starts. I tried the one from horizon hobby with the rechargable d cell on it and all that it did do was fall apart on me. I would definately NOT reccomend that one. just my .02 here.

My buddy has a Revo and has nothing but problems with his easy start so we took it off and now he pull starts it and we use my starter box with the glow igniter built in it is so much easyer
