Default Pipe recommendation for RB C6BB T7

I'm getting an RB C6BB-T7 soon and was looking for some good pipe information.

I've heard that the Sportwerks 053 or other 053 pipes work better than the RB 2045 pipe.

Anyone using anything else with good results?

Thanks!

Actually, nothing works better for the RB .21 engines than the 2045 or 2020. The 2020 however will decrease you mileage while giving more bottom end, but the pipe itself is weaker. The 2045 is a tank. Then choose a longer 98mm header or shorter 92mm header depending on how you want to fine tune the engines speed or torque.

I really like the 2045 and 92p on my C6.

I have been using the RB2020 w/ my standard C6 in my CRT without a problem...Lots of bottom end and the stinger is like 1/2 inch long so you don't have as many problems with the stinger getting bent inward.

Spend the money on the 2020 or the 2045.
I would say that you will be satisfied with either.
I forget which header I am using but I believe its the 92mm in truggy and I used the 98mm in buggy but I may have it back ward, my gear isn't in my front of me...LOL

I am running a Werks medium conical header and a Mugen 1005 pipe on my C6-BB and i like the combo. I wish i had a Rb pipe to compare it too but i dont.

I have a 2020 pipe I bought from A Main on June 1 and has about a half gallon through it, absolutely perfect , no dings, with a couple fuel spots with a 92P manifold. I would sell both for $90.00 shipped in the US.
