Get the Jammin 16mm big bore shocks and start with the 1.2 pistons, then drill out 3 holes on the front pistons to 1.3mm, and drill out 3 holes on the rear pistons to 1.35mm. Then put 37.5 WT front and 40 WT rear with the Gray springs. Mount the front shock on the outermost hole on the tower, and second outmost hole on the arm. For the rear, mount the shock on the second inner most hole on the towers, and the outer most hole in the arms. It Should feel very good.

M2C 4-Shoe racing clutch With the Reg. Soft Shoes, and 2 .95 springs, and 2 1.0 springs (truggy setup only, the buggy setup uses different shoes and springs). Very nice setup. Short aproach triples are much easier. I got mine from Nitrohouse. I didn't do the box mod but from what I heard it's not that hard.

http://www.nitrohouse.com/options_hyper_8.htm

That's a link for the clutch, just go near the bottom and you'll see it.

I have an RTR and it's time to make some upgrades... I am starting with the Spider center Diff... Will it fit without any mod or additional purchases?

Thanks
bcane

Thumbs up

I was at a nice county run track this weekend that seemed made for truggies. Saw 5 brands of 'em, 4 were RTR rigs. None of the guys went to the races just bashing and having fun. Guess what? The Hyper ST was moneky stompim' the heart out of 'em. The only thing he had new was tires 'cause he loved to do fast donuts around his buddies when they crash. Really, stock servos and he could tune the mill some more. Hummm...I guess its time to get in the penny jar and start counting.

Should fit right in but but you need to get the pro kit spur gear for the spider diff. Most people that race the pro kit put the regular diff in. If your just bashing or if your going to race i would keep the regular diff in.

have a newbie qn i'm doing some testing on my new 2nd hand hyper ST, and the engine seems to burn out after 15 minutes of continous play. as in, the engine jus shuts down and smoke comes out from where the glow heater is. is tt bad for the truggy? any idea what causes this problem?

It could be too lean of a setting or maybe it's leaning out to much when the tank is almost empty if your running it hard.

Are any of you guys running the Super BB shocks with you Hyper ST's? If so what setup are you running? I am currently running the 'blue' springs and 45wt oil, and I think I need to get harder springs. Before I do, just wanted to see what other people are running...
