Default TORSEN DIFFS ?? Does anyone run them in a MBX5R ??

Whats up guys, I was thinking about getting the torsen diffs for my MBX5R. Has anyone ran them?? Are they worth the $190 each ? What performance gains will i see? Do i need all three, front/center/rear ? Where can I buy the torsen diffs for the mbx5r. any info would help. Thanks, Patrick

the type of track that torsens work the best is a smooth, high bite track, they work in low bite, but almost too well.

I have used them, years ago, and they made a pretty substantial difference, but I have yet to see others use them in the past 5 years. At 190 bucks, there are many other things you can buy for your car that are more important.

If you feel you need them, start at the front, and then center. The rear is not worth replacing.

On an blown out track, they will make your car feel inconsistent, darty and, plain hard to drive.

Would just a Torsen center basically eliminate diffing out though? I realize it might make the car psycho when accelerating through ruts, but I'd think the days of ballooning the front tires would be over.

to a point, you wouldn't be able to turn very well because of near equal power to the front and rear of the car.
