Yeah, the big triple on the back stretch is now a double, and as you take the following turn, there's an equal size double where it used to be flat....here's a few pics I took today...

Also, the following is a direct quote from Les, as posted on SGrid...
"Some announcememnts for the driver race

All qualifying will start at 10 am on Saturday, no qualifiers on
Sunday, the lower mains c,d,e,f and lower will be 15 minutes long, b
will be 20, and the a will be 30. I have been listening to some of the
concerns of drivers and I agree that the lower mains should be longer!

I am leaving the qualifying time of 5 minutes aloner for now, and just
making the mains different.

Let me know what the opinions are

Les"

One more note...they rented a 2 ton vibrating steamroller and packed the entire track...including a berm on the outside of the last turn. And with today's rain, the track should be AWESOME!

Looks nice, and hopefully the rain will stop by Friday.

I agree, the lower mains should be longer with a minimum of 10 minutes. Part of nitro is keeping the engine running, keeping the car in one piece, and having a good pit guy/gal. I think the real test is of ones ability to stay focused for long periods of time.

I'll miss those trips in the back lane but I LOVE the big air scattered all around the track. Especially like that quad in the second lane out. I still dream of another quad up front like the season opener though. Having all the rigs hit big air in front of the crowd was priceless. After seeing the pic of it I can't wait to get up there. Hopefully we won't have any drama in the parking lot this weekend like the MM5 and we'll ALL have another awesome weekend of racing.

My personal thanks go out to all the guys that help maintain the track. You guys are untouchable and your work in amazing. My rigs are ready so you all better be tuned up.

P.S. It sure would've been nice to have these pics up on the site though.
