Default Same Issue on my RTR

Can't believe I had the same problems on my Losi. Ended up doing the exact same thing. Cutting off the hubs with a Dremel. Didn't think of calling Losi though and just swallowed the bill.
Upgraded the complete car from chassis to titanium everything, stainless screws etc.. and now, I am the happy owner of a Losi 8 2.0 + 1 highly modded Losi 8B with everything you can think of to make it what I should have bought in the first place.
I couldn't even get my wheels off at first!!! Used all kinds of tools to fix that too...

ok guys if this ever happens to you again all you have to do is use a good quality 2.5 and 4mm drill bits in a drill and slowly drill the set screw out -easy as

then all you have to do is remove any excess material from the driveshalft and replace the set screw NO PROBLEM

I've had to do this a couple of times and it always works

I have bought two race roller 2.0's so far and both had a lot of problems from the factory build so I can only assume the rtr is a nightmare lol bring on a kit!

I'll match your $5.00 and snow cone and add 5 bald pairs of Sportworx tires, an empty can of TAG body spray, and an Xray active diff bevel washer.

Default One great thing about this sport

have you approached any of the other guys @ your track? While you wait for Losi to resolve the issue, I'm sure you'd get the same response/help that you're getting here, only local. I'd be suprised if no one stepped up to help you.
