Pipe suggestions
I'm thinking on trying new pipes for my MBX5-T. I'm looking for something that helps on the med-high rpms. My setup is this.
MBX5-T w/ 48T spur & 14T clutch bell (stock is 46/13).
JP Racing B-5t (Turbo plug) w/7.5mm restrictor.
JP Racing Conical medium manifold & 9901 pipe.
Combustion chamber heigt 0.55mm / Nova #7Tc plug.
25% Nitro fuel.
I race at a medium-big track, main problem is sometimes traction limited and would like to exchange some of the low-end grunt for more power on the mid and high rpms.
EFRA 9886 pipe is not an answer. 2 chamber pipes are banned at the track. Suggestions?

Lately scrutineers are starting to be very picky about this. The JP pipes don't carry EFRA homologation number, so they are illegal for being used, this along the fact we need to use 3 chamber pipes makes the correct choose very hard.
I'll give a try to a Ninja 2053 (maybe has too much high end that pipe) I have here, but looking other possibilities.
Nitro$junkie: YGPM. Sorry for not answering before, hadn't caught in the fact I had PM awaiting.

Yep, that was my first movement, but... isn't available here and... going overseas only for a short manifold, shipping, taxes, duties and others, seemed a lot of hassle. Ordered one, but will not be available for 2 or 3 weeks at least.

He can not run the 086 or the JP-3. He needs a EFFRA legal 3 chamber pipe. I would suggest an OS 2050 if you could get your hands on one. Nice 3chamber pipe that is legal and already has a short header on it. Get away from the conical if you are trying to reduce torque and make a smoother power band. The OS 2060 is great but does not have the bottom the 2050 has.
These guys are right about the JP-3. It is smooth if your track will let you run it. It is a 3 chamber.
Your run times will be killer w/ the 2050.
I have 3 of them if you are interested.

Changing from track isn't an option, here you get a membership to a track with a montly (or 3 monthly fee) and you can run as much as you want.

Check out the Thunder Tiger 2039 pipe. It says it is a EFRA 3 chamber pipe similar to the Nova 9886 and OFNA 086 pipe.
