Rather than suggesting ballistic engines like the ones that appeared on the past posts, better to know a little more of the driver and which will be their main use, using a MRT Ninja or a C6BB-T just for bashing is like throwing money by the WC and flush it.
Before getting a real answer to your question, why don't tell us what will be their main use and how much experience you have doing carb adjustments? Could be quite informative to us and help us to give you a right advice.

well, I currently have a VSpec/JP1 combo, but the pipe isn't ideal. it doesn't have enough top end in my opinion(and in most who i've spoken to, actually). depending on your driving style I'd recommend a 2050 for this engine, or if you're a smoother driver a 2060 may work just as well.

V-Specs do not like JP pipes. Some guys are happy with them until they run an OS 2050 or OS 2060. They are sold after that.
Keep in mind these engines are 3 ports so volume has something to do with how smooth they are and how good they getty up in different parts of their power band.
I bet that JP-1 was like a light switch.
2050 if you like a little more grunt.
2060 if you like it to be smooth.
