how should i be able to tell the difference in this special edition draked motor from carolinas rc. the bearings and everything look the same as a stock one to me. the box and bag aren't sealed or anything. is the sleeve modded?????

Ask the hobby shop if they have made any tell-tale sign of being the modified version.

I'd imagine the sleeve has work done to it. You can pull the sleeve out and look at it.

i was just curious if there is much difference between the standard and drake versions, like power and fuel economy wise.

To be honest, I don't feel like I have enough back-to-back experience to make a proper comparison. I know the stock engine runs very well.

With that said, Adam would not make any modifications he didn't feel were a significant advantage.
