Default Opinions on RB C6-BB Turbo head version

Looking at buying this engine. Anyone have any experiance with them?

Default RB C6

The RB C6BBT is one of the premier race engines and the only motor that can make power like the OS Speed. The RB C6 line of motors is at the high end of the out-of-box race motors. I've owned and raced every model of RB off-road motor, and the C5BB rody tuned on-road is a beast. In fact, the motor I have in my buggy right now is an RB Mods RB C6BBT7.... its a killer!

I get around 9 minutes run times on the C6.





But I think the best race motor for smoothness in a buggy is the RB WS73.

Awesome motors, I would suggest it's to much for 90% of people that run them though

They produce real torque and killer top end, you still have to be able to use it or it'll simply help you crash faster

I've currently got a GRP in my race 8ight and love the smoothness after running a C6 in there before.But for raw power and top speed there's not alot that compares to an RB C6.

Picco P7R is one motor that makes more power then a C6....not that its relevant to this post !

I've ran just about every italian based engine out there. The C6 is a very solid long lasting engine. The only knock i had about it. Is that its very pipe sensitive. More so than other engines. Its very smooth no matter what pipe so it makes very usable power. Runtime is ok. Race tune i think was around 8.5min with a 2045. The werks 2013 pipe gave it the best low end i thought.
The p7r seems to be able to rip the tires off the line better it definently had more torque than the c6.

the C6 has lots of power but is a little much for a buggy to much wheel spin. they are great in the truggys.
If you like RB try the WS73IIL2G
I just got a GRP and the power is very smooth with crazy top end.

I just started to break in my new C6 l2g today and its going great so far. I am following RB's break in method which i think will be a conrod killer but its going good and would like to use their method as they should know their motors best

Have only run 4 tanks through so far and still very rich so i cant comment on the power yet but it started first try and its a piece of art to look at!

I have it in my mbx5r at the moment replacing my vspec for this weekend racing but it will be going in a mbx5t for normal duties as i think it will be too much for a buggy on the track i race.

man o man the l2g head is very nice!
