Default Caster Racing ZX-1R

I just ran the latest revision of the ZX-1R, they have come aloooong
way, the new plastics are rear very good, all the little issues with
the car have been taken care of, and the car works very very good! my
fastest 10 lap average was faster than my single fastest lap with the
Losi.. I had people lined up to try out the car after the race, not one
of them had anything bad to say. I know its hard to believe but lap
times just don't lie... word is that, they have a US distributor lined up
as well.

Is there any difference between ZX1R Pro and the old ZX1 Pro?
Well the old version needs more tweaking to become race ready, and we have problems with the diff.

The ZX-1R is far better than the old ZX-1, I agree the old ZX-1 need work to be race worthy, the new car has different plastics, redesigned front hubs, redisigned shock towers, and totaly new diff gears, I have not had any issues with the new diffs, they appear to have the same type of heat treament the Mugen gears have. Also they changed the gear ratio a bit as well...

I am really impressed with the new car...I will post pics of the build this weekend..

The new revised Casterracing vehicles are very impressive and a big jump forward by them.
The ZX-1R is just a wicked handling buggy and takes the rough stuff with ease.
I have the early version of the ZX-1R and love it !
In capable hands its sure to be a front runner.
and the a-arms are great upgrades for Mugen buggies.
Also the cnc'd opion chassis is good value and fits Mugens too.

Is Caster releasing conversion kit from ZX1-Pro To ZX1R-Pro. Is the R-version price's same as the old one?

Thank you.

I don't think there are any plans for a converstion kit, there would be too many parts to change, all the plastics, diff gears, ect. but I can tell you the price is very close to the same as the old buggy.

If anything the major parts that can be changed to improve the ZX-1 Pro would be :

Diff crown gear and pinions
rear upper arm
front steering knuckle

other than these the rest can be changed as and when it needs replacing.
