My lead is like that too. I noticed the plastic braces too. Is there a reason for them over the aluminum ones? Also dave I noticed you are running the OLD rear shock tower, reason for that too? Also you have the new ackerman on the buggy. Big Difference??? I put in on my truggy and it helped alot.

Yes those are plastic braces. During the last pro series race I thought the car was a little more forgiving in high speed turns, especially if they were bumpy.

With the jammin big bores I thought the old rear tower felt better. The caster ones will be a little different, so I will try the new shock tower with the caster big bores.

I just noticed he is using the stock brake linkages!!! I changed mine out. I like having the adjuster knobs to turn and adjust you brakes.

The old shock tower is a little taller and narrower the new one is wider and more low profile, because the jammin shocks are so tall this tower works the best, but with the caster big bores I think the new one might be the hot ticket.

I run the stock brakes, I'm heavy on brakes and I've seen many mugen guys brake the the rear brake, so with the aluminum diff standoff I put some extra long screws the other direction pointing out with 2 nuts. I have my bias setup the way I like it in relation to the thottle on the engine so I like to adjust the the brakes with the 2 nuts. Not what most would do, but for me it seems the most consistant without having to retune the radio for brakes.

I used the stock linkages with another collet close to the servo horn for adjustment.

Big bores arrived today actually. Even Cam says these things are the cat's meow. I am not going to say anything since it seems like I am the biggest trumpeter for Caster (and I should be) but I can honestly say I haven't seen him this excited since he called me about Caster the first time. It has been a long and hard road for the past year with product improvement and development, but these things are serious contenders. We brought them to the lhs just to show and 3 sets got sold to people who do not run Caster within 20 minutes. I think we are going to have to order another 100 sets in next week if there are any big races this weekend that our team drivers are going to.

Fusions are done and should start arriving here in the next few weeks.....some by plane, some by boat. Make sure you are on the list if you want to be the first batch...
