I did not use the stock foams though. I had some moulded foams I used. I really like the wheels. Not sure if its the wheels or the tires but they fit so perfect onto eachother compared to me using Pro-line ones and the sidewall is completely flat. Am I right or is it just me? You would know skeller.

vnmsgt, what towers do you have on that buggy, they don't look like the stock ones? Also wondering were you got the CF radio plate, top deck, and center diff plate? I like the looks of those TQ8 big bores on the car.

Thanks for any help

The shock towers are what comes on the current ZX1-R. They were updated a couple months ago. The CF Plate I got from another ZX1-R I got used awhile ago and took it off of it. I do not think they make it anymore. The TQ SX8 shocks are great. I am waiting for the Caster Big Bores to come arrive and will be using those. You might be able to find out who may carry them at www.casterracingusa.com forums. Try asking there.

I will be racing with Dave Albrico this weekend. He says he has the new Caster Big Bores. So we'll see how well they perform. Thanks for the info on the towers and CF. I'm not a Caster owner as of yet, but really considering moving to the ZX1-R.

Cool. Where are you racing at. I wish there were more big guys around where I am to race with. You can gain alot of knowledge from people like that!

BTW skeller, I am going to try your setup you posted on the www.casterracingusa.com site. I changed my diff fluids out yesterday and adjust my camber settings and arm positions. Will let you know how it goes.

Make sure you check your track width before you set your camber.....I think my lower pillow balls are 6 or 7 threads out.

We run arond the midwest KS, MO, NE, mainly. This weekend is round 3 for Kansas sate pro series in Topeka KS. Dave and I have ran together for the past few years both Nitro and electric, he is a good guy to be around. He's been talking to me about running caster for the past month or so.

I've only raced the Caster car 1x....but it actually exceeded my expectations. I may race it at our next points race.
