Does anybody have a good baseline setup for the buggy?

I just got mine and want to get it ready soon...

Thanks!
Chris

I don't know of any Ebay or "discount" shops,

but www.casterracingusa.com has plenty of parts in stock and I'm sure your LHS can order them in too.

I know someone at my track who is running the C-hub front, so maybe he would have the complete pillow ball to sell?

I'll check with him if you want....

I checked and he does have the complete pillow ball setup... arms etc... all brand new I think.

I'm told the pillow ball has more turn-in.... and maybe more steering in general.

A local racer put it on his Jammin last summer and said the same thing, a lot more initial steering.

But I have not run both on the same car... so I have to take their word.

Thats my understanding.
So why would a person consider taking away steering ?!?!?

buggy turns better than a Mugen for sure

i have the c-hub conversion on my caster im gonna race it this weekend im gonna drive cams car also to compare the 2 cars and cam will also drive mine to compare i will post back next week to let you guys know how the c-hub compares. i do notice that the c-hub has less bump steer than the pivot ball. i also am gonna try some curved steering rod ends also this weekend and see if i can gain anything with that. i just like trying out new stuff to better my car.

Default One lil question

I have a question for you guys,

I just got my ZX-1R and noticed the muffler stay wire is waaaaay too short. I recall somebody posting a part number for the Jammin "spring" stay on here somewhere but I cant find it. My roomate also has a ZX-1R and he uses the stay that came with his JP-4. I bought a JP-3 on ebay but it didnt come with one. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Chris

My new ride is almost complete, just waiting for my Jammin 16mm big bores to come in...

Yep... the stock pipe wire is kinda short. You can make one from a coat hanger if you still have any of the good old metal kind. Custom fit that way too
