i prefer the 13t also no substitute for good throttle control unless the cars a dog when it can be really frustrating but never really had a bad handling Mugen

Well my 14t bell is destroyed now so i'll stick with the 13t. A little negative expo on the throttle tames the rear end down under power.
Man stop worrying, your car needs a 13t bell after driving it i would say dont run a 14t again unless its a huge track and its so stable anyway so dont worry about the rear coming around

Your qualifying time was insane man! you had a great run and the car was on rails, i should know it was in the final when i drove it

I wouldn't worry about it. Mugen shocks are the shizz. Preload spacers are quicker and more accurate.

+1, Tony really knows his MBX5R!! i would also suggest buying a screw kit from him 300+ screws that perfectly suit the MBX5R. its a really nice kit!

hum.. this may sound wierd but i noticed that theres available threads on the shocks(sorry dampers) is there a nut that i could buy to possible use the threads or are they there for giggles and you know what ? also, theres like a black rubbery thing going from the shaft to the part that the shock screws onto, on the a-arm, is this to keep dirt out of the oil?

not enough threads to do anything with plus the thread is very fine the black thing is the shock boot and keeps dirt out

Hey guys can someone tell me the ratio of the ring and pinion gears. I'm wondering if changing to the X5T gears will help me out of the corners. My car just seems sluggish compared to my Kyosho. The kyosho had less power and it would kill my X5R off the line. Any advice?
