thanks,
The truggy gears make the overall gear ratio very low (lots of torque with less top speed). If you're running 14/48 now with the stock diffs the overall ratio is a lot higher.

I'm running the 5T front and rear diffs in my 5R with a 44t and 18t cb. My engine is a RB Mods Novarossi P5XS. As it is right now this car will out pull any buggy on the track, RC8, Losi, Jammin. It's totally much better than the stock gearing, by far. And with top end for days. My buddy I race with has a 5R set up like mine except he has the stock gearing and my car totally pulls him down the straight hands down. He's even running a V-spec speed that is RB Modded.

18t clutch bell and 46t spur w/truggy ring and pinion would be closest to the final drive ratio of the stock buggy.

I would just buy the 44t center gear and be done with it and save yourself the trouble. I did the truggy gears and the std center gear, but it tore up clutches because you can only get a 16t cb on it. Engine comes up on rpm to soon.

Mugen has two buggy bodies. The original MBX5 body is thicker 0.040" lexan. Then they have the ProSpec light-weight body (now 5R body) and it is made of 0.030" lexan.

Best regards,

gregory its generally better to use an airbrush when painting as its easier to put down a nice thin coat, a well painted body will be great looking but if you hold it up to a light you will be able to see your fingers through the paint as the layers just enough to not seep colour through when backing, bodies as above go for the lightweight version, dont know where to get the pillow balls aside a main, i have ordered some mugen ones but they are currently out of stock so im still waiting as well.

no prob for pics your welcome

lightest body between the stocker, the lightweight stocker and the symbio is the symbio. its 20+ grams lighter WITH the nose braced with shoe goo and extra lexan
