Without having to go pull my shocks apart, what's the stock piston hole diameter and number of holes?

this is the set-screw to use for droop....the rotating ball tip will not dig into the chassis and will not wear very quickly either....McMaster-Carr has them for less than 5$....

Default Front lower MBX5 R arms

I was just checking in on the thread when i noticed a few posts on front lower arms breaking, i was racing yesterday and in my first qualifyer i came over a jump, landed on the front left and broke the lower front arm.The arms are almost new, the arm broke on the hinge pin side and to be honest i could`nt beleive it, i have never had this problem with the mbx5.I am seriously thinking of using the mbx5 arms from now on, we all know that mugen has a reputation of being tough and this was a bad let down for me, i just hope this was a one off as i really do`nt want another race day ruined.

I`ll look and see if i still have the arm and post a few pictures of it later.

On the question of shock pistons, mine came with white 1.4 holes that i thought were standard to the kit.

Mugen must have problems because the stock pistons that came with my car measured 1.4mm.

I just measured a brand new pack of 1.5mm pistons, and they came in at 1.4mm!? WTF is going on here?

Your 'so called 1.5mm' pistons are white or black? the black ones are 1.5 and the white ones are 1.4 (stock on the MBX5-T).

And if your 5R came with 1.4 pistons could be one of the early batches, this is one of the worst things from Mugen, they silently introduce running changes and they can give you headaches.

Did you find it when you were building the kit or is that after the car has been used?
