Either way, moisture or not, it looks like nice dirt/clay! Way better than the track here in Santa Barbara! I hope to visit it soon to lay some whoopass down, oops i mean to be schooled! Plus the dirt they have there cleans quite nicely. The track underneath will help maintain moisture, will it not?

It will be fun to see what new and exciting layouts they come up with. The JBRL will be different this year as well!

i know for it to be "legal" it has to be 12 inch or hight i think its about a foot and a half

But I do want to get back into it as offroad just is not as cool to me as onroad...now where to find a nitro onroad track close to Santa Barbara, I havent looked.... This so bums me out!
Not to intrude, but Crystal park has a great onroad track for you and it's closer to Santa Barbara by at least an hour. The track is a bit bigger than Rev but smaller than Sun Valley and it doesn't have hobbyshop on the facility. If you wanna get all dirty, they have a big offroad track also.

If anyone knows otherwise, I will be there. What time does the track open for practice?

Thanks in advance guys.

I went by there today and the new track does not really look any different. They put some new post around the outside edge for new fencing or something. Just put femce posts in those holes on the pictures above.. They were working on the current off road track though. I did not pay that close of attention last time i was there but the layout looked a little different. The center was dug out a little before you turn and head to the big table in the middle. They were rolling it with a riding roller, is that something they always do?

Gas champs are next weekend. Not sure there is anything big this weekend. The end of the month is going to be busy though!

There is a big club race at Revelation Raceway on Saturday. Track layout has been changed. I was there on Wednesday for a photo shoot... The track looks fun and I look forward to racing this Saturday.

I will see everyone there!
