To other firestorm owners

How many of you have been able to get your truck to wheelie? I have been tuning and playing with mine but I still just cant get it. I have it tuned reasonably well (I think) and tried tightening the slipper clutch. Any other ideas? Suspention settings? What am I missing?! Thanks

Here is a bashplate that I made up myself to help protect the front bulkhead and keep everything in line. So far it has been working great it is made out of thin stainless steel and if the front ever does hit somthing the front "bumper" just bends a little and can be bent back by hand rather easily rather then just breaking the front bulkhead.

The reason I made this is because I did actually break my front bulkhead and needed somthing to hold it together while the new one came in and realised this should also help protect it from happening again!

It is a rough job made only to work until the new parts came in so I will be making a nice more manufactured looking one shortly.

Rather simple but maybe usful to some of you. I found a tear in the silicon exhaust coupling and it was really effecting performace as well as making a HUGE mess so I simple went down to the local hardware store and bought some of the hosing that is used in a dishwasher (good for higher temp and a little thicker wall) It costs next to nothing and is MUCH more durable then the original.

First outdoor pic - You can see right where my antena tube exits the body there is a small section of fuel line tubing. This is because during a roll over I broke the tube itself but this really seems to hold up and allows it to have some flex.

I have replaced all the plastic washers with metal ones as you can see on the tops of my rear suspention mounts. You can also see the fuel line tubing on my antena tube.

well i'm torn between this and the XTM Xcellerator. it depends on the parts at my LHS. it will probably be the firestorm though, because i prefer it, even if my LHS doesn't stock either parts.
